The field development plan (FDP) is one of the most critical decision points of the project lifecycle. In developing the FDP governments and companies share some common interests but are also guided by different objectives. This training provides participants with an understanding of the process of developing and approving FDPs, the factors from both the company and government perspective which influence the FDP, what should be included in a robust FDP and the mechanisms emerging producers can adopt to ensure regulatory oversight and increase the asset value. The course will take place over 4 days, with dates to be confirmed. Participants will be selected from agencies with responsibilities in the FDP process in Suriname and among our member countries with discoveries.
